The Murals of Winnipeg website announced Wednesday, artist Annie Bergen's mural on Burrows Avenue at Salter Street has been selected the 2014 Mural of the Year from 28 new outdoor murals in 2014. The mural on the MTS St. Johns Central Office celebrates more than 100 years of history of MTS. The mural was painted last summer by Annie and fellow artist Aiyee Mann with assistance from students from the North End Womens Resource Centre, children who live in the area, as well as MTS employees and their families.
