On May 25, 1961 the Assiniboine Park Zoo put the young siberian tiger cubs Adam and Eve together in the same enclosure with the hopes that they would eventually mate. There was a concern that they would not get along, Winnipeg Free Press photographer Dave Bonner was on hand to see what would happen. He also photographed a couple other animals, a hyena, and a swan.
