BORIS MINKEVICH / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS WOMEN’S RIGHT TO VOTE – The Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) and The Manitoba Teachers’ Society (MTS) are pleased to announce the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Status of Women Canada will speak this evening at the CTF/MTS Women’s Symposium in Winnipeg. The Victoria Inn Hotel is where symposium participants from across Canada are gathered to celebrate the centennial of the right to vote first obtained by women in Canada.
