WAYNE.GLOWACKI@FREEPRESS.MB.CA The University of Winnipegs Institute for Womens and Gender Studies in partnership with local Métis artist Jaime Black launched The REDress Project Thursday. Jaime Black holds a donated red dress for her project, she hopes to collect 582 red dresses for her art instalation. The interdisciplinary on-campus art & education project aims to raise awareness surrounding the murders and disappearances of more than 500 Aboriginal women across Canada.
