RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Police officers, emergency crews and building maintenance personal with the MTS building at 166 Portage Ave. East work together in the area around The building and the back lane to persuade a man to come down from a ledge(approx 30 feet off ground) created by ventilation piping Monday afternoon. The man came down part way before climbing back up to his perch. Officers said the area is not conduces to a rescue mission and want the man to come down on his own to avoid harm.
