LOCAL STDUP? - murals
Artists paint an eclectic array of drawings in  black & white on the outside walls of · The New West Hotel (786 Main Street) Friday as people make walk and ride by.   
There are five large-scale murals being put up in the North End tis week by the  North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC) partnering with Synonym Art Consultation and Graffiti Art Programming.  The goal is  to revitalize industrial parts of the North End by painting large, contemporary murals on generally overlooked
 buildings. On September 30th, The Vineyard Church (782 Main St.) will host a celebration of the completion of the North Ends newest murals as part of this year’s Nuit Blanche.

The locations of the  five murals can be found at:
The New West Hotel (786 Main Street), Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. (445 King Street) and 
 Star Blanket Project (810 Main Street)
