JOHN JOHNSTON / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS  Social Page for April 20th, 2013  Kidney Foundation  of Canada, Manitoba Branch – Fort Garry Hotel The Hope Affair presented by The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch (KFOC-MB) & the Canadian Society of Nephrology, took place at The Fort Garry Hotel. The event honoured Dr. David Rush, an integral leader in Manitoba’s nephrology community. He was presented with KFOC-MB’s Founder’s Award. Proceeds from the gala will support the Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training Program (KRESCENT). The 240 guests in attendance experienced an evening with local flair including a live auction of Inuit artwork and a locally-themed menu.
