Members of the Winnipeg Police ID unit pull up into the backland of the 400 block of Manitoba Ave. Saturday afternoon after a stabbing earlier in the day.  A pool of blood can be seen to the right of the scene as well as debris from the paramedics who worked on the victim.  June 29, 2013 Ruth  Bonneville , Winnipeg Free Press. In a separate incident that same morning just hours and metres away, emergency personnel were called to the 400 block of Manitoba Avenue shortly after 4:30 a.m. for the report of a stabbing. Officers found a man suffering from stab wounds. The man was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Michael James Keith Flett.
