This Friday, Parks Canada will begin offering its annual Halloween program at Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site. Lower Fort Garry historical interpreters Jennifer Hooper, Jenna Dyck, Matthew Rothenberger, Laurie MacDonell, and Hayley Caldwell. All working at the Fright at the Fort halloween program that runs Oct. 10th,11th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st. from 7-11pm. The theme of Fright at the Fort this year is an epidemic that sweeps the fort, in which visitors will be able to find scares and horrors, partake of a Victorian wake, encounter the terrifying Windigo and enjoy food and beverages at the “Thirsty Beaver Tavern.” BORIS MINKEVICH / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS October 8, 2014
