Ruth Bonneville / Free Press LOCAL STDUP - 100-yr-old Photo of Hercules fly-by for 100th Earl's 100th birthday Tuesday. Mr. Richard Earl who joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at age 18 and served in the 2nd World War, celebrates his 100th Birthday with a grand party at The Courtyards at Linden Pointe Tuesday. His party included close family and friends along with MLA Obby Khan and Premier Wab Kinew! Also members of RCAF,, 435 SQN, which Earl was an original member of during the war, presented him with a photo of him in the CC-130 Hercules when he visited their hanger earlier this year. To top it all off the RCAF did a fly-by with the CC-130 Hercules 2 times once for his birthday and also for the RCAF which is also turning 100 this year. See story July 3rd, 2024
