Photo description:
While taking out some of the heavy straw board that lined the walls on the second floor of the former Rapid City public school building, in order to get down to the original plaster walls, members of the Rapid City Museum and Cultural Centre board uncovered a treasure trove of signatures from the 1930s on one particular wall that they are now trying to preserve. One of the signatures was written by a man named Ralph Fuller, a Rapid City resident and Canadian soldier who was killed by the Nazis during the Second World War by firing squad in 1944, according to local history.
