Photo description:
Top right: While taking out some of the heavy straw board that lined the walls on the second floor of the former Rapid City public school building, board uncovered a treasure trove of signatures from the 1930s on one particular wall that they are now trying to preserve. One of the signatures was written by a man named Ralph Fuller, a Rapid City resident and Canadian soldier who was killed by the Nazis during the Second World War by firing squad in 1944, according to local history.
