Kaydence Morgado Thomas who was raised in Winnipeg with family ties to Norway House Cree Nation graduated from the University of Manitoba's faculty of nursing through the Pathway to Indigenous Nursing Education Program on June 1. She will be working at the Health Sciences Centre starting July 15 while working casually at the Percy E. Moore Hospital which serves Peguis First Nation.
