Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) President Bea Bruske, gives remarks during the opening speeches at the NDP Convention Friday.

Welcoming speeches took place from various speakers including Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew, remarks from Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) President Bea Bruske, MP Leah Gazan, and Dakota Plains First Nation Chief Donald Smoke at the fRBC Convention Centre Friday.

A large group of delegates from across the country will be voting on policy resolutions over the weekend.
