RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Standup Selkirk Ave. Market. Cynthia Stevenson works on her needlework, called felting, of a cherry blossom tree while attending to her vendors table at the Selkirk Ave. Market Friday. Stevenson learned how to do traditional beadwork and felting from the Indigenous Family Centre, just across the street from the market. After learning to create her own designs she now sells them at local markets. Photo: Photo of Stevenson's traditional beadwork earings. The market is free for vendors to sell their locally made or produced products on a first come first serve basis and runs every Friday from 10-3 until Sept 7th.
