Photos of members of the Federated Women's Institutes of Canada (FWIC) touring Nellie McClung’s Heritage Site in Manitou, Manitoba Monday. For story by Bill Redekop.

The site includes two homes that she lived in, The Hazel cottage that she boarded in with the Hasselfield family when she began her career as a teacher in Manitou at the age of16 years old and McClung House where she penned two of her 16 books and gave birth to four of their five children in Manitou and raised them in McClung House. The 3rd home on the site is a typical log home from her era with artifacts and gift store.
