See Release below. - August 25, 2018 HELLO MEDIA FRIENDS! Sorry for the very late notice… but we wanted to let you know that the Winnipeg Rowing Club’s annual Community Rowing Challenge takes place TOMORROW (Saturday) – and your cameras are invited to come out and take in the very exciting (and always unpredictable) amateur rowing action! The Community Rowing Challenge (CRC) has 13 teams this year, who received 8 weeks of rowing coaching with a dedicated coach. At the end of those 8 weeks, all teams participate in the CRC regatta where they row at least 2 heats of 500m plus a final race. The CRC Regatta happens tomorrow morning at the Winnipeg Rowing Club, at 20 Lyndale Drive, between 8am and 1pm. Finals start at 11am! PS. An exciting development this year… True North entered the CRC for the first time, registering four teams from their office!
