49.8 Meth

Feature on IFC (Indigenous Family Centre), for Meth project.

Silhouette portrait of IFC bird named Feather (backdrop is a wall mural seen through the window outside the centre on the facing building), which is a therapy bird and is a resident of the Indigenous Family Centre. The bird beings to the Director, Michele Visser.

Vessel's bird named "Feather" has become a resident of the centre. and helps clients feel comfortable, at home and like any peaceful animal, a healing component at the centre like a healing bird.

Where : Indigenous Family Centre, 470 Selkirk Ave.

IFC has been a frequent visiting spot for meth users of late, causing the centre to lock their doors and cut back on hours. Bathrooms have also been locked up because meth users were trying to eat their feces (to get high again).
