RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS INTERSECTION - Baltic Brothers Martin & Bernard Pacak and their childhood friend David Moszkiewicz (green) are the owners of Baltic Brothers, a eight-month-old biz that makes drink infusions the "old world" way. When they were kids, the guys would get up at 4 a.m. on Saturday mornings and accompany their Polish-born father to an area near Pine Falls, where they would spend a few hours in the bush, picking berries, mushrooms, seedlings etc. Once home, their dad would wash & dry what they'd found, stored in jars. Come Christmas time, he'd pour vodka or gin into the jars, let everything sit for a few days, then voila, flavoured drinks for party-time! They make five different infusions, including Pine Falls Gin, Manitoba Mule and the Winnipeg - their take on a Manhattan.
