Intersection - Black Market Provisions

Where: Black Market Provisions, 550 Osborne St (Morley & Osborne, former home of Pollock's Hardware)

Photos of shop owners Angela Farkas (blond) and Alana Fiks holding their famous rice Krispie squares in store.

What: This is for an Intersection piece on the newly-opened Black Market Provisions. Four years ago Angela & Alana founded Pop Cart - a frozen treat biz that marketed popsicles at farmer's markets & pop-up events all over the province. Last summer, they took over the space at 550 Osborne St and after months of renos, they opened their bit-of-everything store at 550 Osborne on March 21.
