Description:Green Page story

Portrait of Jasmine Tara and Daniel Kanu in East Gate on the banks of the Assiniboine River on Thursday.

Jasmine Tara and Daniel Kanu are organizers with the Lake Winnipeg Indigenous Collective group, a environmental advocacy group looking out for the health of Lake Winnipeg.

The story is about the Lake Winnipeg Indigenous Collective Basically they are a environmental advocacy group looking out for the health of Lake Winnipeg, but they do everything from an Indigenous cultural perceptive where they teach people about how the rivers and lakes are sacred in Indigenous culture and should be protected for that reason.
