LOCAL - Nellie McClung Heritage Luncheon

Nellie McClung Heritage Site's Lilac & Lace Luncheon took place at The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre to celebrate her legacy and showcase some of Manitoba's powerful voices like Janice Filmon -25th and current Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, First female mayor of Winnipeg Susan Thompson, along with many others on Tuesday. All proceeds of the luncheon will go to help preserve Nellie's Homes of Manitou - her only private residences in Canada that are open to the public.
