RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Local - Homicide anniversary Thelma Krull Today marks four years since the disappearance of Thelma Krull, who was last seen on July 11, 2015. Four years to the day that Thelma Krull went missing, a memorial of colourful flowers strung onto a large poplar tree sways in the wind marking the area where investigators recovered some of her belongings just after she was reported missing. The tree stands at the bottom of two large hills in Civic Park near Kildonan East Collegiate in the Valley Gardens area. Krull arrived in this area approximately 8:00 a.m. that day thought to be out for a morning walk. Investigators later recovered several items in this area that belonged to Thelma, including her glasses and mobile phone. Despite the thousands of hours of investigative work by our agency and the RCMP, this case remains unsolved. See Carol Sanders story. July 11th, 2019
