Local - die-in CMHR

At exactly 2pm Friday, Lena Andres (yellow jacket), one of the leaders in the Manitoba Youth for Climate Action group, falls to the ground with dozens of students (could be up to 200), during die-in demonstration symbolizing how people will die from the effects of climate change on the steps of the CMHR.

Members of Manitoba Youth for Climate Action, students, teachers, parents and activists staged a ‘die-in’, where all participants simultaneously collapse and pretend to be dead because of the posed threat of climate change, on the steps of the CMHR . Other student led die-in demonstrations took place simultaneously across Canada.
