BIZ - coffee

Photos of owners of Never Better, gourmet coffee business owners, Jordan Cayer and Adam Kozuska and their wares.

Story: Before the pandemic, Jordan Cayer and Adam Kozuska (beard) were two baristas at a prominent local café. When that café closed, they were forced to adapt, so they started Never Better, a coffee shop without the physical shop, selling beans from global roasters and delivering them to Winnipeg doorsteps. It’s a bold move and one that appears to be striking a chord with a set of consumers who want to bring the café experience home: Never Better sold out their initial coffee run, and doubled their order for their next one.

Based out of Cayer’s home at 191 Home Street, the delivery service could be a glimmer into the future of coffee shops, one that existing physical locations are trying to backpedal into, while Cayer and Kozuska start from a digital blueprint.
