MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Winnipeg Police Insp. Max Waddell said during a press conference Tuesday morning, the seizure of several 3D-printed gun components during an investigation last month was the first of its kind in Winnipeg. During the presentation of seized guns, Insp. Waddell, showed how similar the 3D printed parts, commonly called ghost guns, were to manufactured versions. The so called "ghost guns" are weapons made by individuals without serial numbers or other identifying markings, often with the use of 3D printing. 200609 - Tuesday, June 09, 2020.
