A St. Vital woman who lives on Barrington Ave. has turned her front yard into a polar bear playground. Vinora Bennett loves working on sculpting and designs her bears made of snow and water in her front yard. Sick of being trapped inside during the lockdown, Vinora Bennett has sculpted almost a dozen polar – mama bears, cubs, big angry bears – out of the snow in her yard. Her snow-bear sculptures range in size and formation, hanging in a tree, playing with young cubs, fishing and standing next to a Christmas tree and have become a bit of a tourist attraction, like the Christmas lights displays in Linden Woods.
