ENT - Andrew Sannie, Black Professionals in Music

Portraits of Hip Hop artist, Andrew Sannie, Black Professionals in Music at 441 Main.

Partly spurred on by his own experience, Sannie is partnering with Manitoba Music to create Black Professionals in Music, a resource and mentorship hub for Black musicians and Black people in Manitoba interested in becoming a professional in the industry, not just on the track, but in the boardrooms, in the studios, and in the labels that make the music world move.

Anyone can make music, Sannie says. But to have insight, guidance, mentorship and room for growth, with a clear path to success? That’s something not everyone has, and he’s hoping the program will help change that, one person at a time.
