MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Marianne Cerilli, Chair of the Wolseley Residents Association, has a look at the storm drain at Clifton Street on the Assiniboine River where brown runoff flooded the river. Most of the river trail on the Assiniboine east of Omand's creek has been flooded by runoff from the Clifton storm drain Monday evening. Because of the combined sewer system it is difficult to determine if the runoff included sewage. Combined with the warm weather other parts of the river in the area have also melted and become open water. 210223 - Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
