RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS BIZ - pandemic pivot Brad Litviak a pilot, is now in engineering school and creates 3-D constructions part-time while he finishes up school. Photo of Brad in his basement workshop with some of his 3-D constructions that he has finished or still working on for clients. PANDEMIC PIVOTS: Brad Litviak is a 35-year-old pilot who found himself in the "sweet spot" of a Plan B when COVID-19 hit Canada and the world last year, ravaging the airline and aviation sector for months. Call it good intuition or a perfect feeling in his gut, but Litviak's idea to start engineering school at the University of Manitoba just months before the pandemic as a backup worked well in his favour. He's not sure when he'll be able to fly again, but for now, he has hope that he'll still have a career when all this is over. And at the moment, he's using those same great instincts to sell 3-D constructions part-time while he finishes up school. TEMUR, June 04, 2021
