RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Local Salter Homicide Investigation: Wpg Police ID unit investigates the scene of a homicide Wednesday. Info: On July 28, 2021, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a report of an assault at the rear of a convenience store located 100 block of Salter Street. Responding officers located two injured males, a 17-year-old and a 30-year-old. Both were transported to hospital for treatment, however, the 17-year-old succumbed to his injuries. The 30-year-old is in stable condition. This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. July 28, 2021
