Photo description:
JESSICA LEE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Emilie Bordeleau-Laroche, curator at St. Boniface Museum, poses for a photo on October 5, 2021, in the attic of the Boniface Museum where the staff sort through donations and prepare items for display. Before the building became a museum, it was a convent. It is believed that the attic is where the nuns slept. Beside her is a hat donated to the museum by her great-grandfather who wore the hat on a pilgrimage and documented the trip by drawing pictures of the people he met along the way. Reporter: Brenda
