JOHN JOHNSTON / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Social Page for May 4th, 2013 Misercordia Angel Ball – Winnipeg Convention Centre Donors, sponsors and friends of Misericordia Health Centre celebrated at the 2014 Angel Ball raising funds for the MHC Foundation. One very special auction item was an original framed work of art celebrating the Kelekis legacy in Winnipeg – in honour of Mary Kelekis who was presented with this year’s Angel Award. As a Foundation board member from 1984 to 1991, Mary helped lead the Foundation as it began its journey 30 years ago. Her passion and enthusiasm helped the Foundation also become an integral part of Winnipeg, just like her. (L-R) Pat Campbell, Kathleen Murray, Mary Kelekis, Becky Walker, Batty and Ab Hansford.
