People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier addresses his supporters during a meet-and-greet event that took place at the Victoria Inn on Friday afternoon. This event marks the first time the PPC leader has visited Brandon since September 2021, when he organized a rally at Dinsdale Park to publicly fight back against COVID-19 mandates across the country. While Bernier repeated some of that same rhetoric during Friday’s meet-and-greet, he also used this event to recruit PPC candidates to run in a future federal election.
