LOCAL - Sel Burrows Feature

Photos and portraits of Sel Burrows around his beloved home in Point Douglas that he shared with his deceased wife, as he finishes packing and cleaning up during his move.

Description: Sel Burrows won’t ever truly leave Point Douglas, but his house on Grove Street — where he and his wife Chris lived for 12 years and where the Point Powerline community organization was founded — now has a new owner. Burrows says the house is too large for him since Chris died last year. But the community dynamo is still planning to tend to his old garden, and will continue building on his legacy of service from abroad … in Osborne Village.
