ENT - warming huts

Perrault and Moodley along with a group of students and teachers from the school, worked together on the concept, design and construction of the hut. Their design was selected in the Warming Huts v.2023: An Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice which received 122 submissions from 33 countries. It is one of six new designs that will soon join old favourites on the Nestaweya River Trail at the Forks. 

Story: The Forks opens its annual showcase of award-winning warming hut designs along the Red and Assiniboine River this weekend.  This year's creations include local and international teams and bring to life six innovative new Warming Huts during building blitz week. Winnipeggers will soon enjoy the public art additions to the Nestaweya River Trail presented by The Winnipeg Foundation as they join Warming Huts from years past.
