ENT - The Summer That Sang

Photos and portraits of artist, Marie-鶥 ??Fontaine and the crew as they rehearse for her upcoming, multi-dimensional, shadow-puppet show.

Soundscape artist, Gerald Laroche working with instruments to create the perfect naturalist sounds during rehearsal Thursday

The show is presented to the audience manly through a window through the use of shadows, special effects and soundscape art to capture the audience into naturalist scenes.

Marie-鶥 ??Fontaineճ new show at St. Bonifaceճ Theatre Cercle Moliere is inspired by the communityճ most celebrated author, Gabrielle Roy. Fontaineճ Cet ete qui chantait (This summer that sang).

It draws from Royճ 1972 novel, written when Roy Ѡa three-time winner of the Governor Generalճ Literary Award Ѡwas living in Petite-Riviere-Saint-Francois, an idyllic community in Quebecճ Charlevoix region.
