Story: Wendy Pearce has been foraging in the Interlake area for more than 10 years. During the warmer months she lives off the land as much as she can, gathering fruit, vegetables and berries to sustain her and her family. Pearce is currently working on her book, a chronological foraging guide for southern Manitoba, where she shares her foraging techniques as well as how to make full use of what you have forage.
