Lake Metigoshe’s Club de Skinautique waterski club returned to the water on Monday evening for their first performance of the summer. The waterski club, which began in the 1950s, has been performing for more than 60 years on Lake Metigoshe, which straddles Manitoba and North Dakota west of the Turtle Mountains. The club is made up of both Canadian and American waterskiiers and puts on a series of performances on the American side of the lake each summer. Crowds pack the hill overlooking the show site or park their boats on the lake to watch the performance. The club’s next performance is July 15. For more photos, turn to Page A5.
