RUTH BONNEVILLE / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Local - Money Matters kids Kim Dudek, now vice-principal at John Pritchard, with student, James Cook, as they work together on a vinyl press which is part of a micro-business project to teach kids about money and business. The Vinyl press is used used to make prints on t-shirts and hoodies that they sell like a small business and learn the money concepts around business. Kim Dudek was previously a teacher at Murdoch MacKay and led an Indigenous program that was recognized by the Bank of Canada Museum with an award for financial education. For feature on financial literacy for kids. November is Financial Literacy Month, and experts note that the earlier people learn the better.
