The girls took part in the Bison Transport Girls Multi-Sport Series at Sport Manitoba Friday. Girls ages 7 - 12, who were off school on an inservice day, learn to fence with the help and instruction of coaches with the Manitoba Fencing Association at Sport Manitoba on Friday. Fencing was one of 4 unique sports the girls participated in: badminton, tennis, fencing, and taekwondo during the day long event. The Bison Transport Girls Multi-Sport Series gives girls ages 7-12 (birth years 2010-2016) of all backgrounds the chance to get active and try multiple different sports they may not have tried before. Each sport has instructors leading the way with experience and knowledge specific to their activity, ensuring everyone is learning, staying safe, and having fun! See website link for more details.
