Intersection A&V Drive Inn

Angelo & Vicky Cavadas, owners A and V Drive-In, 745 Daly in Fort Rouge Curling Club

What: Angelo & Vicky ran the A&V Drive-In in Fort Garry for 19 years. Their lease was up last summer and rather than sign on for another five years, they pulled roots and relocated inside the Fort Rouge Curling Club, of all places. Things have been going gangbusters ever since; not only are curlers chowing down on their homestyle cooking (breakfast, lunch & dinner), their old regulars from Fort Garry are showing up in droves, too, people who have no notion of curling - they're heading there for their fatboy fix, instead.

Story to run as the Sat Jan 20 Intersection piece.
