RUTH BONNEVILLE / FREE PRESS Standup - World of Wheels Doug Ingram shines up his 1951 GMC pickup truck at the RBC Convention Centre for the 47th annual Piston Ring's World of Wheels Thursday afternoon. The show runs from Friday till Sunday, March 22nd - 24th showcasing the finest Hot Rods, Custom Cars, Trucks & Motorcycles. Ingram's prized truck has been in his family since the day his great uncle, Gordon Witt, purchased it for $1250.00 to use on his farm in Hartney Manitoba in 1951. Doug restored the vehicle including redoing the wooden truck bed after it was passed onto him in 1980. Doug and his wife Sylvia have kept it in immaculate shape ever since. March 21st , 2024
