RUTH BONNEVILLE / FREE PRESS Standup - Spring break at Leaf Five-year-old Roman Kolegaer and his brother Michael Kolegaer (10yrs), check off their list of items they hunted down on a scavenger hunt while checking out the Leaf during spring break with their mom and grandmother Monday. The scavenger Hunt involved testing you knowledge and observational skills looking high and low throughout the biomes at the Leaf for tropical fruit and exotic flowers and plants. The Leaf's Scavenger Hunt is just one of several engaging activities for kids to take part in this week which also includes: - Gardener Chats with their Horticulture team as they share their stories and passion about the plants in The Leaf, - Brasil Moderno, a colourful new display in the Babs Asper Display House inspired by the tropical landscapes of Brazil and the work of renowned Brazilian landscape architect and environmentalist Roberto Burle Marx. - Story Time РSettle down for story time with our amazing volunteers in the beautiful Mediterranean Biome.
