BROOK JONES / FREE PRESS Pictured: A Historic Sites and Momuments Board of Canada plaque commemorating Game Three of the eight-game 1972 Summit Series played between Canadian professional hockey players and the Soviet Union's national team which ended in a 4-4 tie at the Winnipeg Arena Sept. 6, 1972. Parks Canada hosted the plaque unveiling at the Hockey For All Centre in Winnipeg, Man., Wednesday, March 27, 2024. A permanent home in Winnipeg for the plaque is still to be determined.
