Story: Philanthropy.   The Manitoba government, in recognition of 100 years of service to the community, declared Feb. 20 as Kinsmen Recognition Day.

Winnipeg Kinsmen President Christian Tardi appreciates the opportunity to serve the community through a broad and diverse mix of organizations and describes the impact as transformational. “We all have a responsibility to our community, we can’t expect that the government can fill every need within our communities. We all have a social responsibility to come together and help each other out,” Tardi said, describing giving back as an amazing life experience.
