Winnipeg Free Press News

Winnipeg Free Press Store
Photos of the year - Wayne Glowacki On a dry cold sunny January morning in 2013, I got an assignment to get a picture of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights at The Forks to run with a story in the paper the next day. The museum has been a very popular subject to photograph by our staff over the years so I thought a different way to frame the building would be my goal. After walking around the museum once I noticed the frosted windows on The Forks parkade. Going up the stairs I found a aprox. 5 cm. clear view through one of the panes near the floor so I got down low and used a small aperture setting on the camera so the frost and museum would be in focus. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights seen through window frost in the parkade at The Forks . Mia Rabson story (WAYNE GLOWACKI/WINNIPEG FREE PRESS) Jan. 2 2012
