The West End Business Improvement Zone is proud to reveal its latest mural in our West End outdoor gallery. A Man Called Intrepid will be revealed at Sargent & McGee, Royal Canadian Legion #1 .The public and media are invited to attend as we roll out the red carpet for guest appearances by James Bond and his entourage. Designed and painted by Winnipeg artist Dave Carty, this stunning art piece shares with us the fascinating story of Sir William Stephenson. Stephenson was born and raised in in Winnipeg and lived for a time on Ingersoll Street in the City’s West End. A fighter pilot, entrepreneur, industrialist, inventor, spy and advisor to President Roosevelt and Winston Churchill, his life was full of important contributions and historical significance.
