Work includes putting in new pavement, replacing existing sidewalks with interlocking paving stone walks and upgrading of street lighting on Main Street from Graham Avenue to Lombard Avenue and on Portage Avenue from Fort Street to about 150 feet east of Main, During this first stage of the project, two-way traffic on Main is confined to the west side and Portage Avenue East is closed. The reconstruction work is expected to be completed in 14 weeks.
