MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS The World's Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics makes its way west on the north perimeter Saturday morning. The project is put together by the organizers of the Law Enforcement Torch Run working in conjunction with members of the trucking industry in an effort to raise funds and awareness. It departed Île-des-Chênes mid-morning and headed north on Highway 59, around the Perimeter Highway and returned to Île-des-Chênes. It's estimated that 200 trucks drove in the convoy. 180922 - Saturday, September 22, 2018.
